Avoid being scammed online!

In this article we are going to give you 6 filters, which can be applied to any Betting System website. These simple but important filters will help you identify a likely scam within minutes of landing on a suspect site.
Unfortunately a lot of punters really are there own worst enemies. You really do need to consider that around 85% of online betting systems are developed by out and out BS MARKETERS, who know nothing worth knowing about betting…
Remember: those who don`t learn from past mistakes continually repeat them.
Filter 1: If it sounds to good to be true, its BS
Check the opening headline at the top of each website (Usually in large BOLD TEXT to get your attention) If there is a ridiculous claim of thousands of pounds being made through Betfair using a particular method, 99 times out of 100 it’s a scam. There are plenty of punters making money on Betfair, but less than 2% make more than £50,000 a year. That might sound strange since a system comes out every other week claiming the opposite.
In fact some gambling systems are claiming that they have made as much as £100,000+ in a year. Generating that kind of money through betting requires “MASSIVE STAKES” anything from £300-£1000 per bet. For example – to make a 100 points clear profit laying horses would require multiple bets to be placed daily, at these frighteningly large stakes.
Then there’s the need to take into consideration losing bets and Betfair commission, both of which have a big impact on eventual profit or loss figures, especially with the majority of these so called miracle systems advocating laying horses at very risky odds.
These kinds of profit figures are pure fallacy…Way beyond the reach of 99% of punters. Usually these sites contain some absurd references to everyday people such as…
Ex-school teacher – driving instructor – window cleaner – Quits job and NOW makes £100,000 a year on Betfair.
These marketers take this approach to empathise with their target market e.g. People desperately wanting to believe there is a quick fix solution to making shed loads of cash, in return for minimal effort
Ignore claims of loop holes, secrets, easy money etc. There aren’t any, its all BS. Consider this fact – If there were any loop holes (Which we guarantee there aren`t) they would very quickly disappear. Betfair are the worlds largest most successful betting exchange, with a turnover of around £50 million a week. They are very tuned into what site users are up to. So although Betfair provide a genuine platform to make money through betting, they DON’T have any loop holes.
Filter 2:Â Due diligence
Try to find out who your buying from. Ninety five percent of these self proclaimed betting experts are nothing but dubious Internet marketers who know very little about what they are selling. Check their sites for an ABOUT ME/US PAGE, you`ll rarely find one. These people like to remain anonymous because they are…“HYPE MERCHANTS” who generally use a different alias for each product they launch. If their products generate so much cash why do they need to use a different/false name for each one?
Harsh truth…
Because their existing products have already received abysmal reviews and negative user feedback all over the Internet. These guys need to create alias`s in order to continue selling more JUNK BETTING SYSTEMS. Basically they need to hide behind smoke screens. Here at…

We are who we say we are. You can Google us or simply check out our credentials via the ABOUT PAGE. Their have been numerous independent reviews done on our products, by some of the betting industries most respected sources.
Filter 3: Results
Have a look for a results page if there isn’t one or there is a just a few dodgy Betfair account screen shots, then all that proves is someone has either manipulated the P&L figures in ADOBE PHOTO SHOP, or they have had a few LUCKY wins over a couple of weeks betting, either way it proves nothing.
Filter 4: Assess the emails you receive
The majority of the correspondence you receive will offer absolutely no tips or advice on how to make money through betting. What these emails will contain is affiliate links to the latest and greatest systems to hit the market. Our advice is to unsubscribe after the first email. If your not exposed to HYPE and BS, you wont be tempted into buying it in the future.
Trust us on this one…
“YOU will very rarely learn anything of value from these people”
The bottom line is they want to make a fast buck from you and move onto the next fad. The majority of these so called miracle systems are absolute rubbish, and contain nothing more than – generic advice, which can be obtained for FREE all over the inter-net.
Buying the latest miracle systems to hit the market – might teach you a couple of simple tricks that will make you a bit of cash in the short term, but in the long run you will lose money following these HYPED UP METHODS because the advice they contain offers no real betting edge. In the majority of cases you`ll see absurd cliches which…
- Make out that everything to do with Betfair is simple as paint by numbers, if only
- Claim that picking winning or losing horses is child’s play, and it only takes 10 minutes a day.
- Claim that you will always profit and can never lose. No methodcan ever do this.
In reality these systems…
- Don’t explain what you really need to know to make consistent profits from betting
- Don’t tell you what to do when things go wrong
- Don’t give you any proper advice or risk management, not even the most basic exit strategies
- Are seriously misleading about how easy it is to pick winning or losing horses
- Advise very bad value bets
- Promise instant wealth and many other such cliche’s that can they can’t possibly deliver on
These are just a few of the many many reason why the majority of systems fail long term. There are literally dozens of different ways to profit from racing, but the fact remains that you need to learn the core essentials of the sport and then combine that with a good understanding of how Betfair racing markets really work.
Yes there is a learning curve but it is one that is definitely worth spending some time doing, after all the money you bet with is yours. Learning the proper mindset and following proven betting essentials will keep risk to a minimum and help you to grow your knowledge.
Have the patience to learn a skill properly– build your profits gradually, and only increase your stakes once you have gained confidence in your ability and reached a higher level of skill. Don’t buy into HYPE and promises of instant wealth it will get you know where in the long run.
Filter 5: Scarcity – limited numbers of copies
Scarcity is a tactic used by many online marketers to force prospective buyers into purchasing instantly without making a rational judgment first. These marketers know that this tactic works very well on in-experienced punters, who are quite easily fooled by the latest betting system scams hitting every one’s in box. Most marketers claim there are only a limited number of copies available.
To put this into perspective think of it this way – An e book or a PDF file can be created/uploaded to a web host and downloaded “Infinitely” They are not hard copies, so how they hell can there be a limited number, its just BS to force you to buy a.s.a.p. Use common sense, and if you feel you are being rushed into buying a product then simply walk away.
There are also one or two genuine people who use these limited time offers as well, but generally you`ll be able to verify these quite easily by performing a bit of due diligence. Having said that on the whole this is a very misused tactic.
If you have previous experience with the seller and feel they can be trusted its not a problem. BUT when SCARCITY is being used on a new product or from dubious source that cant checked out properly then it`s best ignored.
In conclusion – YOU need to…
Choose your adviser’s VERY carefully!
Failing to do so will only lead to disappointment, loss of hard earned and damage your confidence in the long run. Unfortunately the betting niche is completely full BS con men, this is the harsh reality. Their tried and tested formula to get your cash is thus…
- Rehash old betting systems, or develop ridiculously obvious systems based around past results.
- Get a website done
- Pay a sales copywriter to create a pitch completely full of empathy and NLP trigger words. In plain English a clever way to fool you into buying their garbage. Call it what you like – IT`S TURD POLISH of the highest order.
- Get like minded con men who peddle any old garbage to become affiliates. The majority of which don’t even own a copy of what they are endorsing.
- Launch product which involves tons of HYPE & BS emails being sent to prospects via the lists of all the aforementioned affiliates and sycophant’s.
- Watch the cash role in via click bank
- RINSE AND REPEAT
This extremely sad and unethical approach to marketing simply alienates customers, ultimately leaving them disillusioned and very annoyed. Here at false favourites we get approached regularly by these kinds of sharks asking us to promote their systems unfortunately around 85% of the material we receive is utter dross. Don’t just take our word for it there`s plenty of PROOF, documented online.
