Our FREE horse racing tips, betting advice, statistics and Trainer Trends have been compiled by Jonathan Sutcliffe (AJ-racing). The aim is to provide you with key statistical trends to help you find profitable angles when betting on the televised races  each Saturday.

You want a horse that has raced over today’s distance and class of race before. They preferably ran in a group race last time out where they finished in the first 6 and today they are the top rated or within 10lbs of the top one & priced 12/1 or less

SUMMARY

We need a horse that ran in Class 2 to 4 race last time that started at odds of 20/1 or less, that has a top 4 finish in 1 of it’s last 3 runs and has also run at today’s distance of a mile before.  Preferably the horse will be aged 4 and we should be looking at horses priced 12/1 or less.  Using those 6 factors in past years narrowed the field down to

SUMMARY

I would be looking for a horse is aged 8 to 11, that ran in the last 90 days, that finished in the first 6 in a handicap race, over at least 3 miles that was not the Grand National last time out and today is priced at 20/1 or less
