TRAINER

Marcus Tregonning used to like winning this race with 5 winners from just 7 runners but it is a while since he has had a winner

Mark Johnston & Sir Michael Stoute both boast 50% place strike rates in the race
AGE

13/14 aged 3,4 or 5

LAST RACE

14/14 finished in the first 4

5 winners last raced at Doncaster from just 16 runners with a further 2 placed

2 winners last raced at York from 8 runners with a further 3 placed

OTHER FACTORS

14/14 had won at least twice in their careers

13/14 were either GB or USA bred.  IRE only 1 winner from 33 runners

13/14 had run at least once in the last 90 days

12/14 had won at the distance

11/14 had won at least one of their last 3 runs

11/14 had run at the track before

Previous track winners also have a good record producing 8 winners from 21 runners compared to 6 winners from 80 runners for those who had not won at the track

SUMMARY

A very strong stat with the first 2 in the betting market winning this race, so not much need to look any further.  If they last raced at Doncaster or York all the better

Some big priced winners so no real pointers here though 9/14 have been won by the first 3 in the market

Richard Hannon has had 14 runners and is yet to have a place

Richard Fahey has had 11 runners and is also yet to get a place

Mark Johnston has had 10 runners and is also yet to have a place

Tim Easterby has had 2 winners from 8 runners and has had another 2 placed

LAST RACE

14/14 raced on turf last time, all 13 runners from the All Weather have failed to place

4 winners last raced at one of the Newmarket tracks from 18 runners

11/14 raced in a Class 1 or 2 race

11/14 finished in the first 4 last time out

SUMMARY

Not a great deal to go on here, but perhaps best to concentrate on the first 3 in the market which ran in class 1 or 2 race last time out and finished in the first 4.  If they had their last run at Newmarket all the better.
