To demonstrate the point that profits can be made taking this approach I created a short list of 15 horses for Betting School in early November 2010. Based on their profiles I anticipated the horses I advised would run well during the 2010/11 National Hunt season. Some had already shown what they where capable of last season and offered slightly less value; whilst others had bags of potential because they where less exposed and likely to go off at better value odds.

The Racingpost.com also provides a very useful resource to follow horses. i.e. the “NEW Stable Tours Database” lists horses which are due to run for the next five days. Most of these horses are considered to have ability and you can read trainer comments by clicking the icon to the right of each horses name. You could compile a list of horses each week/day and copy & paste them straight into an excel file or word document for ease of access.
To access this feature simply visit Racingpost.com> Cards > STABLE TOUR DATABASE

Hi Jonathan,
Many thanks for your emails which are both enjoyable and informative. 2 Qns pse:
1. Is there any way of tracking a market ..ie which horses are being backed..in either Betfair or RP other than printing out the screen shot at beginning of day and then constantly checking on screen- both of which are a fag and time and print consuming!?
2. I have had a look at the trading Apps on BF..and they are mindblowingly confusing! Do you recommend any..or do you use any yourself?
Many thanks,
Anthony
