System Addicts vs Action Takers Part 1:
In the first part of this two part series we will look at what defines system addicts and then follow up in Part 2 by comparing them to Action takers.
The desire to find the Holy Grail, or elusive money machine ultimately leads punters to the cross roads of confusion. System addicts tend to buy anything and everything which hits the betting market. For want of a better analogy they can be compared to…
“Ladies that buy lots of shoes”
Unaware this unhealthy expensive habit is being fed by BS*** marketers and snake oils sellers, who make a living churning out back fitted systems that will never produce long-term profits. There are literally hundreds of these unscrupulous marketers online trying to sell a “false reality” with regards to betting.
“Unfortunately it takes inexperienced punters a good while to realise that trying lots of systems and betting products is pure lunacy”
We`ve all been there, my hard drive full of generic useless systems.
Skipping from one system to another without giving anything a real honest effort is the quickest route to the poor house. In fact this approach only magnifies existing bad betting habits, causing habitual system buyers to lose all faith and confidence in their own ability. This in turn leads them to conclude that making money from betting is impossible.
The Punters biggest enemy is misinformation
The majority of this misinformation comes from dubious sources, such as the mailing lists most punters are signed up to. The constant bombardment of your in box will never stop unless you unsubscribe from these nonsense–peddlers lists.
All these spammers predictably ever do is to promote the latest hyped-up systems. These people will never teach what is really needed to win consistently. Better to visit racing forums and related sites to get free advice, or join the false-favourites weekly newsletter here.
It’s a never ending cycle. To be successful, you first need to learn good betting practices, build some solid foundations and follow a few solid systems/methods that are proven to work and stick with them, filtering out everything else. Don’t let emails about the latest and greatest system become another distraction!
Let me ask you a question.
Why do you think these sad marketers don’t blog or offer regular advice about what it takes to become successful with betting?
Answer…
Because they haven’t a clue!
Lots of us are aware that these idiots are good at marketing, but that’s no use to anyone. The sad truth is they are incapable of writing engaging ebooks or articles which will help you learn what’s really required to succeed. Furthermore Blogging is hard; it takes time, effort and dedication and more significantly you need to be an expert on the subject you’re sharing with your readers.
To sum it up these scam marketers simply want get their hands on your cash and then forget about you.
There`s no – after care, updates, advice, and very often no refund!
Which leads me onto why it’s so important that YOU…
Choose your advisers carefully
Fact! A very large % of all betting systems sold online are out and out scams. The worse thing is these scammers are know changing tack in the sense that are beginning to move from the mega hype sales pitch, to a more punter friendly approach of trying to empathise in order to connect with the market. Clichés such as…
“I`ve also wasted my hard earned cash on useless betting guides, Simple no thinking required system”
You know the type of thing; it’s usually combined with loads of fake Betfair screenshots. Any combination of these predictable factors should tell these people are selling a dream, not a realistic method which will create steady realistic profits. Fear not, its not all doom and gloom thank fully there are decent, honest sellers online.
Ultimately what you have to ask yourself is…how much have I already wasted on useless betting systems?…£50, £100, £300 or more. If some one had shown me what to look for when I started my betting journey a few years ago I would heve paid for it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but having your own personal system which filters the wheat from the chaff should be classed as priceless, especially when it arms with the knowledge you need to “Aviod being scammed into buying useless betting systems online”
Lack of commitment
Another issue that you may not be familiar with is the problem of people not completing courses or ebooks that they have purchased. There are many reasons for this, sometimes the information may require working through bit by bit, and other times they get distracted and move on to other things. The last issue is a big problem and is usually caused by lack of commitment combined with unrealistic expectations from a product or course. Obviously everyone has different a style of learning and what suits one person may not suit another.
There is an alarming statistic that says around 80% of the people who buy e-courses online never actually finish them. Most read a few chapters, employ a few practical lessons but then get distracted and never come back to finish the course.
The key question is how do you avoid this happening to you? Well before you buy a product or system make sure to do some research! There are many ways you can avoid being scammed online. Its worth sitting down and asking your self…
What bad betting habits do you have right now?
“Do you waste your time and money buying useless system after system?

I know from personal experience it can be hard to resist the promotions for latest miracle systems being offered online.
