Sensible Betting

Betting on horses  is one the UK`s favourite hobbies, however you must bear in mind at all times that as well as winning,  you can also lose. Personal discipline is the essential ingredient to betting sensibly.

  • Put some money aside for the sole purpose of betting, e.g a (Betting Bank) This money must not be linked to your everyday living expenses. Doing it this way will mean any incurred losses wont majorly impact on your life.
  • NEVER chase losing bets. There is racing 7 days a week nearly 52 weeks of the year in the UK so whats the rush, be disciplined.
  • Only bet what you can afford to lose. The best way to start backing or laying horses is with a small betting bank, as your experience and confidence grows so will the profits, which will be mainly made up of money you have won and not deposited from your bank account or credit card. Betting with winnings will allow you to relax more. Using money you have won is far less emotional than betting with money deposited from your bank account.
